At Parenting After Separation, we offer a range of evidence-informed services designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re newly separated and trying to make sense of your options, or years down the track and still navigating conflict with a co-parent.
What Jasmin Newman knows from working with hundreds of parents each year is that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Some families need practical co-parenting education. Others need mediation to reach agreements. Some need ongoing coordination support after court orders are in place. We have services to address all of these needs, and we’re here to guide you through them.

Our services fall into two main areas:
- Online co-parenting courses — self-paced, court-recognised programs including the Parenting After Separation Course, Breaking the Cycle of Conflict, Circle of Security Parenting, and Anger Management
- Professional dispute resolution services — Family Mediation (FDR) and Separation Coaching to help parents reach workable parenting agreements
Who are the Services for?
Our services are designed for separated or divorcing parents across Australia who want to reduce conflict, protect their children from the impacts of family breakdown, and build a healthier co-parenting relationship. We also work with parents who are court-ordered or legally recommended to complete a parenting program.

About Jasmin Newman
All services at Parenting After Separation are led by Jasmin Newman, an Accredited and Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Certified Parenting Coordinator (Parenting Coordination Australia), and experienced Co-parenting Coach. Jasmin was named Mediator Peacemaker of the Year 2021 by the Dispute Resolution Centre Australia. She brings deep practical experience and genuine compassion to every family she works with.
