A New Paradigm for Parenting After Separation

Jasmin Newman is one of Australia’s most respected voices in co-parenting education, and a leading expert in co-parenting and parenting after separation, with over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of family law, dispute resolution, and child-centred practice.

Jasmin Newman is an accredited and registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (Family Mediator) and an experienced Co-parenting Coach, working with families right across Australia.

Jasmin is passionate about creating a new paradigm around how separated parents navigate life after their relationship ends. Too often, she saw families fixing their attention on the legal system – the courts, the lawyers, the orders – when what most parents actually needed was somewhere to turn before things escalated that far. That observation became the foundation for Parenting After Separation.

Jasmin brings a rare combination of clinical-style rigour and genuine warmth to her work. Parents going through separation are often in one of the most difficult periods of their lives, and Jasmin’s approach creates the safety they need to reflect, shift, and move forward – for themselves, and for their children.

I believe wholeheartedly that children deserve a loving relationship with both their parents, wherever possible. Amicable separations are not always easy, but they are always possible.
